Rebecca is a freelance trumpet player working across a variety of genres. Following through from her classical training, she has performed with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic, Chineke! Orchestra, Britten Sinfonia, Ulster Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Royal Northern Sinfonia, Scottish Ballet, and Academy of St Martin in the Fields. She also has a passion for historical performance, and has had the pleasure of playing the baroque trumpet with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Armonico Consort, Ensemble Alia Mens and the Academy of Ancient Music, and has performed Bach’s Brandenburg 2nd Concerto twice with historical performance groups.
True to her creative fluidity, Rebecca loves the imaginative and innovative work that contemporary music has to offer, and is thrilled to have played with Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra (where she is proud to work as one of their Academy coaches), London Contemporary Orchestra, Explore Ensemble, Apartment House, Multi-Story Orchestra and London Sinfonietta Academy. She has depped on several theatre shows, including Top Hat, Mary Poppins, Spirited Away, the Les Mis area tour, plus performing at the Soho Theatre with Salty Brine (These are the Contents of my Head) and at the BRIT Awards with Myles Smith.
Rebecca graduated with a first class Master of Arts degree and an LRAM from the Royal Academy of Music in 2020 and from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where she received her Bachelor of Music Honours degree, in 2018.
