Therapy
Starting therapy with a stranger can be daunting, no matter your previous therapeutic experience. I aim to create a non-judgemental, empathic and deeply safe space for us to explore your inner world. I believe that, when we feel truly heard, understood and accepted in therapy, we can start to gain a deeper understanding of our thoughts, emotions and aspirations. In our sessions, we can reflect on past experiences, relationships, patterns of behaviour and your sense of identity, and work together to help you move towards the life you hope for.
My therapeutic practice is rooted in the person-centred centred approach, with your perspective at the core of the work. There are no feelings too “ugly”, “dark” or “messy” for the space, and I bring a candid, down-to-earth approach. Through continued professional development and my own life experiences, I strive to create spaces that are anti-racist, anti-ableist, trans- and LGBTQIA+ affirming, neurodiversity inclusive, class-aware, inclusive of ENM/polyamory, and acknowledging the societal contexts and systems that we are living within. My practice is also influenced by my work in the music industry, where I have witnessed and experienced firsthand the challenges that artists and creatives face (e.g financial and professional precarity, systemic injustices, a culture of silence, resistance to change).
I offer weekly sessions of 50 minutes, both for short and long-term work. I primarily work with regular slots at the beginning of the week, and can offer either online sessions or in-person in SW London.
If you would like to find out more about working with me, please reach out via the contact form below. If I have availability, I will initially suggest we have a free online consultation call to explore whether we feel we could be a good fit to work together and discuss practicalities. Please be aware that I only work with clients who are 18+.
I currently charge £50 for a 50 minute online session and £55 for in-person, but will be offering a low cost service in the near future. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you feel that cost will be a barrier to access.
I am a registered member of the BACP (membership no: 01012178), am registered with the Information Commissioners Office, and I have an enhanced DBS (on the update service).
